The Company:
We are excited to be working with our client, who are a highly respected and growing financial planning firm based in Leicester. With a strong reputation for providing tailored financial advice and exceptional client service, they are committed to delivering long-term solutions to meet their clients’ financial goals. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Paraplanner to strengthen their team.
Role & Responsibilities of the Paraplanner:
* Provide technical support to Financial Advisers, including research, analysis, and preparing suitability reports.
* Undertake product research to ensure recommendations are compliant and aligned with client objectives.
* Prepare and maintain accurate client records in line with FCA requirements.
* Support in the development of financial plans, cashflow modelling, and portfolio reviews.
* Liaise with providers, clients, and colleagues to ensure smooth progression of cases.
* Assist in compliance checks and ensure all documentation is up to date.
* Contribute to process improvements and support the wider advice team where required.
About You as the Paraplanner:
* Previous experience in a Paraplanning role within financial services is essential.
* Strong knowledge of financial planning products, pensions, investments, and protection.
* Excellent report-writing and research skills with strong attention to detail.
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
