Location: Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Ongoing Temporary
Rate: Competitive hourly pay (dependent on shift - £12.21PH - £15.01PM
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Parcel Delivery Operatives for a busy and well-established parcel distribution company based in Kingstown, Carlisle.
You will be responsible for sorting parcels, loading/unloading vehicles, and assisting with deliveries to homes and businesses across the local area. This is a fast-paced role that requires good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Sorting parcels by postcode and route
Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
Scanning and logging parcels into the system
Assisting drivers where necessary
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
You MUST have a clean DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) to be considered for this role
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery environment is beneficial but not essential
Physically fit and able to lift and move parcels safely
Good timekeeping and a positive, can-do attitude
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Shifts Available:
Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available (flexibility required)
Weekend work
AM starts from 2pm/4am
Back start from 4pm
PM start from 9pm/11pm
