Parent Family Support Advisor - Secondary School, Taunton 🌟

Prospero Teaching is working with a welcoming secondary school in Taunton seeking a Parent Family Support Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone with a background in pastoral care, family support, or education.
Position Details:
Role: Parent Family Support Advisor
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Term Time Only)
Pay:
£14.36 per hour (PAYE)
£16.14 per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support student wellbeing and engagement.
Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to families facing challenges.
Work closely with school staff, external agencies, and community services.
Promote positive attendance, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding procedures.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in a similar role within education, social care, or family support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and empathetic approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).Interested?
