Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Tower Hamlets Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Parking Permit Officer role will be: E1 0HJ The right candidate will: * To be responsible for correctly processing applications for parking permits submitted by post and via the Web. * To be responsible for providing sound specialist advice on any aspect of the Council’s parking permit schemes to Members, senior managers, customers and colleagues. * To be responsible for investigating difficult and complex applications and cases (as referred by One Stop Shops, Customer Contact Centre and Cashiers) and resolve in accordance with Council Policy, as necessary speaking to the customer to obtain further information and exercising discretion in order to come to a satisfactory solution. * To deal with applications for any parking permits issued by the Council providing an impartial, responsive, helpful and professional service to each customer. We require the following: * Experience of a complex rule-based administrative environment.
