Bennett & Game have the pleasure of representing a well-established RIBA Chartered Practice based in Huddersfield who are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team of talented individuals.
This RIBA Chartered Practice deliver a variety of projects of values up to £30M, from small to large scale refurbishments, retrofits, redesigns and conversions within the residential sector. Their continued growth and increased workload means they are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team, to apply their expertise and skills to a number of exciting projects. One of your key responsibilities will be to work collaboratively in the design team and create drawings using a mixture of Revit and AutoCAD. It is therefore essential to have knowledge and practical experience using either of these software's.

Produce feasibility studies
Attend design team meeting alongside the wider team
Collaborate with various construction professionals
Scheme designs from inception (RIBA stage 1 to 6)
Detailed scheme designs for planning applications
Producing working drawings/specifications
Production of Planning, Building Control and Construction Issue Drawings
Attending site and liaising with clients and contractorsPart II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements
RIBA Part 2 qualification (a minimum of 1 years UK office experience Part I or II)
Competent use of AutoCAD/Revit/InDesign/SketchUp/Photoshop
Proven experience in a Design Office
Construction technical knowledge/awareness depending on experience
Experience in Building and Planning regulations/procedures
Creative design flair
Live within a commutable distance of Huddersfield
Good interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
