Part-Time Accountant (2 Days a Week) – Witham, Essex
Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a flexible, part-time role in a friendly, family-run business? Our client, based in Witham, Essex, is seeking a skilled professional to manage their accounts and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating Sage for bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT returns
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Running payroll using Sage
* Managing bookkeeping and ensuring accurate financial records
* Overseeing cash flow management and monthly accounts
* Supervising credit control to ensure timely payments
Requirements:
* AAT Qualified or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of Sage Accounting & Payroll
* Experience in VAT returns, payroll, and cash flow management
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Role Details:
* Working Days: Monday & Friday (2 days total)
* Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
* Location: Office-based in Witham, Essex
* Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour
