Job Title: Part Time Accountant
Hours: 2 days per week (flexible on days & start times)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (pro rata)
Location: Colchester
Contract: Permanent
We’re seeking a part-time Management Accountant to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety and flexibility, while playing a key role in driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Director on Profit & Loss reporting
* Support Senior Management in analysing product performance & success
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Manage bank reconciliations
* Lead on budgeting & forecasting
* Oversee day-to-day accounts
* Implement and improve financial processes
What we’re looking For:
* A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong background in management accounting
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and with senior stakeholders
* A proactive mindset with an eye for process improvement
