Part-Time Accounts Payable
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 FTE (pro-rata, depending on hours and experience)
Hours: Flexible part-time hours – open to discussion (e.g. 4 days per week or school hours)
Are you a detail-driven Accounts Payable looking for flexibility? We’re working with a leading business in Banbury that’s offering an opportunity to join their finance function in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchase ledger or transactional finance who wants to be a vital part of a friendly and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the Accounts Payable function with day-to-day operations
Inputting, reviewing, and tracking supplier invoices using a finance system
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Coordinating invoice approvals and ensuring timely payments
Handling queries from suppliers via email and phone
Monitoring outstanding payments and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with month-end tasks and ad-hoc finance admin as required
What You’ll Bring:
Prior experience in an AP-focused role
Strong Excel skills and confidence with finance software (training provided)
A methodical mindset and keen attention to detail
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
