Driver Hire is currently recruiting for a Temporary Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client – a dynamic and growing business that needs extra support in their operations team. If you're organised, proactive, and confident juggling multiple admin tasks, we want to hear from you!
This is a part time position, expected to last for at least 3 months but maybe extended beyond that and may aslo lead to permanent position.
Hours can be arranged to suit. Our client is ideally looking for someone who can work between 10am - 2pm x 3 days a week. There can be flexibility around which 3 days are worked. Remote working during school holidays etc may also be considerd. Our client is based in Altens, Aberdeen.
📝 Key Responsibilities:

Chasing and following up on supplier purchase orders
*
Maintaining accurate digital and/or physical filing systems
*
Assisting with order processing and general order management
*
Providing administrative support across various departments
*
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to keep things running smoothly
*
Handling general admin tasks as needed
✅ What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous admin or office support experience
* Good attention to detail
*
Great organisation and time management skills
*
Clear, professional communication – both written and spoken
*
Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
*
Able to work independently and take initiative
*
Positive, team-oriented mindset
⭐ Nice to Have:
*
Experience in supply chain, procurement, or order management
*
Familiarity with filing, invoicing, or CRM systems
