Must be able to work weekends. We are looking for a confident and reliable part-time chef to work on a part time basis for a minimum of 1,040 hours per year. More hours available in the busier months with less hours in the quieter months of the year (January - March). The position requires flexibility as the working hours are dependent on events and clubhouse opening times. Holiday cover in the year as well.
Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Catering Manager
Cooking to Order - producing high quality hot & cold food for customers from a varied menu, in timely and logical manner.
Using fresh produce to craft high quality meals for events.
Adherence to food safety regulations. Maintaining inventory supplies and ingredients - placing orders as necessary.
Working part of a small team collaborating with the front of house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Skills - Proven experience in a small professional kitchen environment. Able to cook for 40+ covers
- Able to work independently and work under pressure whilst maintaining high quality standards.
Experience - 2 years cooking experience desired
