Job Title: Temporary Cleaner - Bury St Edmunds County Court
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 October 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 16:30 to 18:30
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (umbrella)
Contract Type: Temporary
Location: Bury St Edmunds County Court, IP33 1TR
Pre-employment Check: Basic Disclosure (DBS) required
We are currently recruiting for a temporary cleaner to join our team at Bury St Edmunds County Court. This is a part-time role providing general office cleaning support for a fixed-term period.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning office areas, including desks, floors, and communal spaces
Removing waste and performing sanitisation tasks
Replenishing cleaning supplies as needed
Ensuring all duties are carried out in line with COSHH regulations
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is desirable
Understanding of COSHH
Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
Basic DBS check required
Uniform: Dark clothing
No driving licence required
Additional Information:
This is a planned temporary cover role and will not become permanent
