Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support the HR Manager with all human resource administration. You will benefit from working closely with a very experienced manager who will be able to help you settle in and get up to speed. You will however need to have a confident, strong personality and to be able to cope with HR challenges including sitting in on disciplinaries, redundancies etc as well as attending meetings,taking minutes and the more mundane daily admin for the group with job offers, contracts etc. Good admin skills are a must as is knowledge of microsoft office, excel etc as well as being very organised. This is an exciting diverse group of companies with multiple business in several countries globally, you will deal with a number of MD’s and managers from a variety of businesses which makes the role extremely varied and fast paced. Due to the nature of the meetings a high-level exposure of working with the senior management team would be an advantage, you will need to be able to demonstrate the upmost discretion and understand the importance of confidentiality. The hours will be part time 3 days per week ideally 8am to 4pm but if it helps (with perhaps childcare etc) we could look at 9am to 3pm for example. Your daily office base will be in ST1 however you will need to have a driving licence and use of your own car as you may need to occasionally attend meetings at other sites in and around Stoke on Trent area.
