Our client is looking for a Part Time Legal Secretary
Client Details

Description
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing solicitors.
Prepare, format, and process legal documents and correspondence (e.g. missives, dispositions, standard securities).
Handle audio and copy typing of legal documents with accuracy and speed.
Manage incoming and outgoing communications including telephone calls, emails, and letters.
Maintain and update client files in accordance with Law Society of Scotland guidelines.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and Registers of Scotland.
Carry out title and property searches, order reports, and assist with drafting and revising documents.
Manage solicitor diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate key dates in transactions.
Process payments, deal with client accounts, and assist with completion and settlement procedures.
Ensure compliance with AML (anti-money laundering) regulations and data protection requirements.
Perform general office tasks including filing, photocopying, and mail handling.
Profile
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in a conveyancing department (preferably in Scotland).
Good understanding of Scottish conveyancing processes and terminology.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Strong typing skills (audio and digital dictation).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
