Job Description
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher to take a part-time position in a nurturing environment.
Horizon Teachers has been asked to help this unique setting to find a teacher of Maths who can:
Provide flexible and individualised learning
Assess and update needs as learning progresses
Engage learners with low resilience and self-confidence
This is an independent special school with a unique ethos of care and support, which prides itself on the results their learners achieve - both big and small steps of progress!
The school provides a calm and nurturing environment where the needs of the learner are understood and met, ensuring that the learner is ready and able to learn.
QTS is desirable but not essential for this long-term , part time position.
You will be on site for 6 hours per day 4 days per week, with 4 hours of teaching time per day and you will be well supported by the close knit and welcoming team.
