Our client is seeking a trained Phlebotomist to join their busy GP surgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Providing a professional and reassuring service to patients during blood collection
* Following infection prevention and control protocols at all times
* Ensuring accurate and safe collection, labelling, and handling of blood samples
* Maintaining clear and accurate patient records and documentation
* Preparing and dealing with samples in accordance with practice and laboratory procedures
* Requirements:
* Previous phlebotomy training and experience (essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Hours can be flexible, anything between 3 and 5 mornings
