Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist (Mornings)
Location: Maresfield
Hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a professional and organised Part-Time Receptionist to provide an effective and efficient front-of-house service at a busy Service Training Centre. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality training administration services and contributing to operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a professional, welcoming reception service for all visitors, clients and staff
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, responding appropriately and escalating issues where necessary
Manage incoming telephone calls, handling queries, redirecting calls or taking messages as required
Co-ordinate day-to-day site security, including:
Admitting and recording visitors
Issuing security passes
Providing site keys where required
Oversee the registration of delegates attending on-site training courses and events
Provide administrative support to the Course Administration Team and wider Training Centre personnel
Carry out data entry tasks using internal systems
Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders regarding any issues or updatesIdeal Candidate:
Previous reception or front-of-house experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Competent IT skills, including data entry systems
Knowledge and understanding of the Fire Service environment is desirableWhat We're Looking For:
