Job Description

We're partnering with a well-regarded institution to recruit an experienced and dedicated Receptionist. This is a key front-facing position where a calm, capable presence makes all the difference. Job Title: Part Time Receptionist Location: Ascot Type: Permanent, Part-time, 22.5hrs per week (08:00am - 12:30pm) Estimated Salary: c. £17,000 - £18,500 per annum Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greet and assist visitors and staff whilst maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area. Monitor and log visitor access, following all related processes and procedures as well as taking responsibility for maintaining associated records. Answer and redirect incoming phone calls via a switchboard system, relaying messages to staff or handling queries from customers directly. Monitor inbox, reply to email queries directly or forward to relevant staff members where appropriate. Ad hoc administrative duties as and when required (copying, filing, database management, manage supplies and stationery stock, take small deliveries etc). What We're Looking For: Solid and extensive reception and/or administrative experience. Excellent communication and outstanding organisational skills. Proficiency with IT systems including Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook). A proactive mindset and flexibility to step up when colleagues are busy, absent or on annual leave. Reliability and a team-focused attitude. Trustworthy and discrete when handling confidential information. Professional appearance and a friendly, courteous, diplomatic demeanour.
