Several schools across Blackpool are seeking a dedicated Part-Time School Lettings Manager to oversee and maximise the use of their fantastic facilities during evenings and weekends. The Role: Your Impact & Schedule
As the Lettings Manager, you will be the key point of contact for external hirers, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
Lettings Coordination: Managing the booking system for sports halls, pitches, classrooms, and other school facilities. You'll handle enquiries, process bookings, and ensure all agreements are in place.
Customer Service Excellence: Providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all community groups, sports clubs, and organisations using school premises. You'll build positive relationships and address any needs or issues that arise.
On-Site Management: Overseeing the facilities during booked periods, ensuring areas are set up correctly, kept tidy, and that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Security & Operations: Acting as a designated key holder, responsible for opening and securing the premises outside of regular school hours. You'll liaise with site teams regarding cleaning, maintenance, and security.
Income Generation: Actively promoting the school's facilities to identify new hirers and maximise income streams, contributing directly to school resources.
Scheduled Hours: This part-time position requires commitment during:
Evenings: 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Additional hours may be available during school holidays or for larger events, by mutual agreement.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in lettings, facilities management, events coordination, or a customer service-focused role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly approach.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple bookings and priorities.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility for premises security.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Basic IT literacy for managing booking systems and communications.
Understanding of health and safety principles relevant to public use of facilities.
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
First Aid qualification is desirable.
