We’re looking for compassionate, relationship-focused Nurture Teachers to work 1:1 with children and young people in Salford who are currently outside of mainstream education. This is more than just tuition — it’s about rebuilding trust, resilience, and a love of learning.
About the Role

Your teaching spaces will be safe, calm, and community-based, including:
*
Libraries
*
Community hubs
*
Local schools
*
Occasionally in the student’s home (always risk-assessed and safeguarded)
This is an opportunity to step away from the traditional classroom and focus on what matters most: human connection, consistency, and growth.
We’re Looking For Teachers Who:
*
Lead with empathy and curiosity
*
Understand the power of relational teaching in promoting engagement and healing
*
Can teach creatively and flexibly, adapting lessons to suit each learner's unique path
*
Value the development of life skills alongside academic progress
*
Want to be part of a supportive, values-driven network of educators
Essential Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent (this is essential)
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
*
Experience with or understanding of:
*
SEND
*
SEMH
*
EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
*
Trauma-informed practice
Ideal For:
*
ECTs seeking a meaningful start to their career

Retired teachers who still want to make a difference
*
Experienced teachers ready for a more flexible, rewarding role outside the classroom
What You’ll Receive:
*
£26–£30 per hour (PAYE)
*
A dedicated, understanding consultant who’s always just a call away
