We’re working with a friendly and passionate company that provides high-quality products and services in the Surrey area. They’re looking for a part-time Agency Worker to help introduce their services to the local area and arrange appointments for their Director and Office Manager.
This assignment will suit someone looking for part-time, flexible working hours. The temporary assignment will initially run for four-weeks, with a view to extending.
The role:
You’ll be conducting outbound calls to local small businesses (within a 10-mile radius of Guildford) to:
* Reconnect with previous customers and check in on their current arrangements
* Make initial contact with businesses who may benefit from the service/product
* Capture information on each company's current set-up – whether they use an external provider or have in-house arrangements
* Arrange meetings for the Director and Office Manager where there’s potential interest
* Highlight upcoming changes within their industry sector to regulations, and how their guidelines are already being updated to meet new requirements
* Log all findings clearly and accurately, even where no appointment is arranged
* Follow-up calls with email communication to continue to develop relationships

About you:
* Comfortable speaking with people on the phone and building quick rapport
* Able to listen carefully and record key information in a clear and structured way
* Self-motivated and happy to work independently from home
* Have your own laptop and a quiet space to make calls
Working pattern:
* Approx. 15 hours per week – flexible to suit your availability
* Could be split between two people in a job-share
* Remote/home-based
