Job Opportunity: English/Maths Tutor SEN School Part-Time Manchester
We are looking for specialist SEN tutors in Manchester is seeking a caring and adaptable English/Maths Tutor to provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs. This is a part-time role, starting as soon as possible, offering 2 hours of tuition per day, across 3 to 4 days per week.
Role Overview:
You will deliver focused English and/or Maths sessions to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping to build confidence, close learning gaps, and support progress in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group tuition in English and/or Maths
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
Support pupils with EHCPs or specific learning barriers
Track progress and communicate effectively with staff
Requirements:
Experience working in SEN settings or with pupils with additional needs
Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths
Calm, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
Relevant qualifications or tutoring experience (desirable)
