Job description About the Role We are seeking a proactive Part Sales and Warranty Controller to join our Customer Service and Sales team at SB Components (part of TVS Interfleet) Wisbech. You will manage parts sales, maintain stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and handle warranty claims from start to finish, ensuring clear communication and high customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Parts Sales & Procurement * Act as the first point of contact for all customer parts enquiries. * Provide accurate quotations and pricing for supply-only and supply-and-fit requirements. * Coordinate ordering and ensure timely delivery of parts. * Monitor stock levels, proactively preventing shortages. * Maintain accurate inventory records using the parts management system. * Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure best value and service. * Support the production department to ensure parts and sub-assemblies are available when required. * Produce regular reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and usage. Warranty Management * Log and manage warranty claims from start to finish, ensuring customers are kept updated. * Liaise with Sales and Design teams to clarify build specifications where needed. * Investigate complaints, document findings, and escalate where appropriate. * Coordinate site-based repairs with customers, engineers, and internal teams. * Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring corrective actions are implemented. * Identify trends and recurring issues to support continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For Essential: * Experience in parts or spares management. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively. * Good time management and organisational ability. * Confident communicator with attention to detail. * Right to work in the UK. Preferred: * Experience in the HGV or Commercial Vehicle sector. * Experience in a fast-paced office environment. * Positive and adaptable approach to challenges. Personal Qualities: * Professional, confident, and proactive. * Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions within agreed frameworks. * Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
