Job Description
Passive Fire Protection Specialist - Heathrow - Contract
A leading consultancy is seeking a Passive Fire Protection Specialist to join their Telecoms Design team at Heathrow Airport. You will integrate passive fire protection into IT in Construction projects, ensuring designs are compliant and installable.
Details:
Location: Heathrow (3 days per week)
Contract: 12 months (initially)
Rate: Up to £70/hr
Hours: 37.5 per week
Start: ASAP
IR35: Inside IR35Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate fire stopping elements within IT construction designs.
Work with fire engineers, Building Control, and suppliers.
Develop and manage BWIC processes and survey teams.
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and drive best practice.Requirements:
5+ years' experience in passive fire protection design or fire engineering.
Knowledge of Building Regulations; hands-on installation experience desirable.
Familiarity with fire protection products (Hilti, Quelfire, Rockwool) and fire engineering qualifications advantageous.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile airport infrastructure projects.
