About the Role
We are seeking skilled Passive Fire Stoppers to join our growing team, working on projects across London. The role involves carrying out high-quality fire stopping installations to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and our company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
*
Installation of fire stopping systems (batts, mastic, intumescent coatings, collars, wraps, etc.)
*
Sealing service penetrations in walls and floors to maintain fire compartmentation
*
Ensuring works are completed to BM TRADA/ industry standards and recorded accurately
*
Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and site instructions
*
Working safely and maintaining a clean, professional work area
*
Liaising with supervisors, site managers, and other trades on site
Requirements
*
NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent)
*
Proven experience as a Fire Stopper / Passive Fire Protection Installer
*
CSCS Card (valid)
*
Knowledge of fire stopping systems and materials
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
*
Valid drivbers licence
*
minimum 25 years of age
Desirable:
*
Additional fire protection certifications (e.g., BM TRADA, FIRAS, ASFP training)
*
Experience in social housing or commercial projects
