Pastoral Support Worker - Alternative Provision Blackpool: Salary: £100 - £130 per day Contract: 8.30am - 3.10pm About the Role: Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a committed and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join a dynamic Alternative Provision setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students who may be facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. You will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of pupils, working closely with families, carers, and school staff to remove barriers to learning and help pupils re-engage with education. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Liaise with parents and carers to develop strong, supportive relationships that benefit the student's progress. Work closely with teaching staff and external agencies to develop and implement individual support plans. Assist with attendance monitoring, behaviour tracking, and reporting. Act as a trusted point of contact for students requiring emotional or behavioural support.Requirements: Educated to NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification. Experience working with young people, ideally within an alternative provision, PRU, or SEN setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to working with vulnerable students. Ability to build effective relationships with pupils, parents, and professionals.Why Work with Tradewind?
