Pastoral Support Assistant - Dorset
Prospero Teaching is looking for a compassionate and confident Pastoral Support Assistant to join a Dorset school on a long‑term basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on supporting young people's wellbeing and helping them overcome emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
Role Highlights:
One‑to‑one pastoral support in class
Helping students manage challenges and improve wellbeing
Building positive relationships and encouraging engagement
Supporting the wider school teamWhat You Need:
Minimum 1 years' experience with children/young people (UK)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willing to complete)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Right to Work in the UK
