Pastoral Support Worker Gloucester, Gloucestershire Immediate Start Full time £89-£100 a day Academics are seeking a compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a SEN specialist school in Gloucester of children age 5-16. The successful Pastoral Support Worker candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, personal development, and academic engagement of young individuals outside of the classroom to ensure the children can reach their full potential in the classroom. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment where ongoing training and professional development opportunities to really make an impact in the children's lives. Key responsibilities of the Pastoral Support Worker: Provide mental, emotional and social support to students Work closely with teachers, parents and guardians, and external agencies like CAMHS to ensure the best outcomes for young people Nurture students in overcoming barriers to learning, including attendance, social connections and behaviour challenges.
