Pastry Chef
Full-time, permanent
Cambridge
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 2 week on rota system, flexibility required. Overtime available.
Salary: £29,039 per annum

Duties including, but not limited to:
* Maintain high standards of quality across all dessert offerings
* Support the preparation, coordination, and presentation of all pastries and desserts
* Assist with daily production to meet operational needs
* Contribute to the creation of seasonal menu items
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health regulations
* Collaborate on the development of pastry dishes for conference and event menus
* Keep the pastry kitchen clean, organised, and within budgeted stock levels
* Wear a clean, laundered uniform daily in accordance with hygiene standards
The person:
* City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 1 and 2 equivalent or relevant baking / pastry qualification
* 2-3 years experience within a similar role
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety
* Full knowledge of allergen legislation & customer dietary requirement
* Responsible and trustworthy
* Flexible approach
* Strong communicator with good team working skillsBefore You Apply
