Job Description

We’re working with a leading Intellectual Property firm that’s looking to recruit an experienced Patent Administrator to join their team in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and play a key role in the smooth running of patent, trade mark, and design operations — both UK and international. Duties will include: * Draft and amend patent/trade mark/design documentation using templates and technical info * Manage deadlines, filings, and formalities across UKIPO, EPO, EUIPO, WIPO, and more * Support attorneys with record-keeping, case updates, and portfolio reports * Coordinate client comms and liaise with overseas agents * Prepare billing entries and invoices * Maintain accurate client files and support travel, meetings, and general admin tasks Previous Patent administration/paralegal experience is essential, gained from a law/IP professional services environment.
