Patient Catering Assistant
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Location: Norwich, NR4
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 06:30 – 14:30
Select Recruitment is hiring Patient Catering Assistants to join the team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food and drinks prior to service
Assist with serving breakfast and lunch while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Clean and sanitise catering areas, including dishwashing and surface cleaning
Support dietary requirements, including allergies and special preferences
Requirements:
Good English communication skills
Catering experience preferred but not essential
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift during shifts
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Genuine interest in supporting patient wellbeing
