Patio Door Assembler
Location: Catfield, Norfolk
Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Patio Door Assemblers to join their fabrication team. The role involves assembling and building high-quality, large stainless steel patio doors for a high-end manufacturing environment.
Applicants should have experience in small batch production, be capable of handling large items, and be willing to learn and develop within a team or independently. Experience with hand tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and build patio doors to high-quality standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Promote a safe working environment and adhere to Health & Safety procedures.
Maintain excellent housekeeping while producing high-end products.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Follow a “Right First Time” ethos, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
Identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
Meet or exceed agreed production targets and objectives.
Behavioural Expectations:
Lead and encourage safety and quality standards across the team.
Act as a role model, demonstrating commitment to company values and behaviours.
Place the customer at the centre of all decisions, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.

Person Specification:
Previous experience in a small-batch manufacturing environment.
Confident in the use of hand tools.
Physically capable of handling and lifting large components.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently when required.
IT literate (email, Word, Excel).
Flexible with overtime, including potential weekend work.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop skills.
