Payouts Team Leader

Reading

£37,000 to £45,000 plus fantastic quarterly bonus and benefits

Our client is a very well established bank and leading lender providing a wide range of lending products.

Due to continued growth they are looking for a Payouts Team Leader to join their growing Asset Finance division. Reporting to the Head of Operations you will ensure a collaborative approach to the continued growth of the business. A key part of the role is to provide effective leadership, support and motivation to the team. Ensuring that all deals are accurately & efficiently prepared for payout in line with the credit approval and all regulatory and compliance requirements.

Your responsibilities will include…

  * Ensure that all key controls are adhered to including working within the relevant procedures and that all documentation has been fully completed and signed as required

  * Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment

  * Create Personal Development Plans with each member of the sales team and execute upon that plan

  * Effective monitoring and management of workflow queues, providing regular reporting on turnaround times. Keep brokers or customers/suppliers up-dated with payment progress where required and track work in progress

  * Being accountable for the results and performance of the Payout team

  * Be the initial escalation point for the Payouts Executives on technical queries and take escalated calls from Brokers, as well as other functions such as Credit & Sales in relation to Payout activities.

  * Complete Payout Activities to support the activation of contracts and complete and associated checks completion Support the Head of Operations when required and appropriate

You will have a proven track record of leading a team within Asset Finance.
