About the Role This is a varied, hands-on position where no two weeks are ever the same. You'll work closely with clients, workers and payroll partners, helping ensure payroll and finance operations run smoothly. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about being part of a business with ambitious growth plans. We're looking for someone who: * Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail. * Is a confident communicator who enjoys working with clients and colleagues. * Has experience in bookkeeping, payroll, finance or a detailed administration role. * Learns new systems quickly. * Takes ownership of their work and enjoys solving problems. * Wants to grow with a business rather than simply do the same role every day. Key Responsibilities Your duties will include: * Chasing outstanding hours and resolving payroll queries. * Completing SDC questionnaires for CIS subcontractors. * Sales ledger bookkeeping. * Purchase ledger bookkeeping. * Bank reconciliation's. * Creating and issuing invoices. * Running payroll (full training provided). * Processing and reviewing new starters. * Producing payroll margin reports. * Supporting the finance team with a range of weekly operational and administrative tasks. The role is flexible and evolves with the needs of the business, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas rather than being confined to a rigid job description. Working Pattern You'll initially work from the office while completing your training and getting to know the business. Once established, we'll review hybrid working, giving you the flexibility to combine office and home working.
