Location: Stowmarket
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional flexibility required)
Salary: £26,325

We are a fast-growing, privately-owned retail business with over 200 stores nationwide. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Stowmarket, creating exciting opportunities for career development.
Role Overview
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time, adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll for new starters and leavers accurately and timely
Gather, review, and apply payroll rules to timesheets and attendance data
Maintain and update payroll data while ensuring confidentiality
Support the HR team with general administrative payroll tasks
Work to deadlines ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
Skills & Experience Required
Proven payroll experience is essential
Experience with Time and Attendance systems
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as in a team
Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining data security
Organised and proactive with a tidy working style
