Job Description

A fresh, dynamic payroll bureau start-up on a mission to simplify and modernise the payroll experience for small to mid-sized businesses. As we grow, we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our founding team. What You'll Do: Coordinate end-to-end onboarding of new payroll clients. Gather, verify, and input payroll data (employee details, pay structures, HMRC information, pensions, etc.). Liaise with clients to explain the onboarding process, timelines, and requirements. Identify and resolve data issues or gaps proactively. Collaborate with internal payroll and support teams to ensure seamless transitions. Maintain accurate documentation and update internal systems. Continuously look for ways to improve the onboarding experience.What We're Looking For: 2-3 years' experience in payroll administration (bureau experience OR accountancy) Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation (RTI, statutory payments, pensions etc.) Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems. Highly organised with great attention to detail. A team player with excellent communication skills. Eager to grow with the company and take on new responsibilities.Why Join Us?
