Job Description

Payroll Administrator (Temporary Role) Location: Saltash (with free parking on site) Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (35 hours per week, 1-hour lunch) Pay: £25,000 per annum We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a busy team in Saltash on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in payroll and administration, working in a supportive environment where training will be provided. What you’ll be doing: Processing payroll data accurately and on time Using computer systems and software to input, update and maintain records Handling telephone and email queries in a professional and approachable way Supporting colleagues and assisting with general administration tasks Learning the payroll process step by step, with ongoing guidanceWhat we’re looking for: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office packages Clear and confident communication skills, both written and spoken A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills Previous office or administration experience would be helpful, but not essentialWhat’s on offer: Competitive salary of £25,000 per annum (pro rata) Free on-site parking for an easy commute Friendly and supportive team environment Monday to Friday hours – no evenings or weekends Training provided – no prior payroll experience requiredIf you’re looking for a temporary position where you can put your skills to good use and learn along the way, we’d love to hear from you.
