Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

The Role:
As Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing a busy, multi-site payroll. You’ll support the smooth running of payroll operations, help improve processes, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process monthly payroll data
Administer multiple payrolls with minimal supervision
Handle queries from managers and team members
Process starters, leavers, and contractual changes
Manage statutory payments (e.g., sick pay, maternity)
Perform post-payroll checks and payment runs
Contribute to ongoing system improvements and reporting
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentationRequirements:
Experience with end-to-end payroll processes
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Familiarity with payroll and HR systems
BrightPay experience is beneficial but not essential
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
