Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Payroll & Compliance Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly timesheets, as well as keeping our candidate compliance records up to date. You’ll be the key link between our temporary workforce, clients, and internal teams, responsible for collecting authorised timesheets, liaising with candidates and clients, and ensuring all compliance and reference checks are in place. As a Payroll & Compliance Administrator, you will need to be confident, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Support: * Collect and verify weekly timesheets from temporary staff * Chase candidates and clients for completed and authorised timesheets * Submit all authorised timesheets to the payroll department by set deadlines * Maintain accurate records of timesheet submissions and approvals * Address and resolve any timesheet-related queries in a timely manner Candidate Compliance: * Ensure all registered candidates have up-to-date compliance documents (e.g. Right to Work, DBS, qualifications) * Maintain and update internal compliance tracking systems * Notify relevant teams of any missing or expired documentation * Conduct regular compliance audits and follow-ups with candidates Reference Checks: * Obtain and document professional references for all new candidates * Follow up with referees and escalate delays where necessary * Ensure all reference records are accurately logged and securely stored About You: * Previous experience in an administrative or compliance-based role preferable (recruitment agency experience is a plus) * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Confident in chasing information from both candidates and clients * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities * Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with database systems How to Apply: To apply for the Payroll & Compliance Administrator role, please send us your CV.
