Payroll & Finance Specialist
£18-20 per hour
2-3 Month Temporary Role
Are you an aspiring payroll and finance professional looking to provide additional support to the wider finance team whilst they undergo a project?

Job Overview
You will be a key part of the finance team assisting with the processing an in-house company payroll as well as dealing with various finance administrative duties.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Processing an in-house monthly payroll for approximately 100 employees from start to finish.
Dealing with various payroll queries
Inputting starters/leavers, holiday pay etc
Complete the reconciliation of the various group bank accounts in a timely manner throughout the month
Process BACS payments ensuring correct allocation of funds and accurate recording in both the underwriting and accounting systems
Essential Skills and Competencies:
Experience working on in house UK payrolls
High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
Experience working in accountancy and dealing with paryoll reconcilaitions
Experience using multiple payroll platforms
A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
Experience with excel and spreadsheets
