🌟 The Role
A great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a small, friendly team within a trusted, not-for-profit organisation that provides vital public sector services. You’ll oversee weekly and monthly payrolls, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all payroll operations.
⚡ Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end payroll for c.400 employees.
Mentor and support two Payroll Officers.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely BACS submissions.
Oversee pensions (including LGPS and auto-enrolment).
Identify and implement process improvements.
🧠 Ideal Candidate
Strong end-to-end payroll management experience.
Excellent UK payroll and pension legislation knowledge.
Leadership experience within a medium/large organisation.
iTrent experience preferred.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident communicator.
