Payroll Officer
📍 Location: IV3 5NX
💰 Pay Rate: £19.45 per hour
🕘 Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
📅 Contract Dates: 27 October 2025 – 21 November 2025
📈 Extension Option: Possible extension for an additional four-week period
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to provide essential support to our clients Payroll team during a busy period. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the payroll team with accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
Carry out calculations for pay, deductions, and adjustments.
Assist with payroll data entry, validation, and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, HMRC regulations, and relevant employment legislation.
Provide administrative and technical support to help maintain smooth payroll operations.
About You
Previous experience working in a payroll or finance administration role.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
