Payroll Specialist
💷 Salary: Up to £30,000
📍 Location: Leicester, UK (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home)

🌟 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established, UK-based organisation. This is a high-volume, end-to-end payroll role where accuracy, compliance, and efficiency are key. You will process payroll, support colleagues with payroll queries, and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Process UK payroll for 2,000+ employees accurately and on time
Administer starters, leavers, salary changes, and payroll adjustments
Process payments (BACS), deductions, taxes, and non-cash benefits
Conduct month-end and year-end payroll tasks, including reconciliations
Provide payroll advice and support to employees
Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and company policies
Identify and implement process improvements
🙌 Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing
CIPP qualified or equivalent
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, NI, RTI, and Auto Enrolment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in high-volume payroll
Knowledge of Zellis/Resourcelink is a plus
Proactive, organised, and capable of suggesting process improvements
