🌟 The Opportunity
A leading global TV and digital production group is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its busy payroll bureau team. You’ll manage multi-frequency payrolls across numerous production labels and ensure accurate, compliant processing for a world-class entertainment group.
⚡ Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls (production & overhead).
Act as first point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues quickly and clearly.
Manage statutory payments, pensions, terminations, and correct tax treatment.
Maintain accurate employee data, including tax codes, bank details and statutory documents.
Produce payroll reports for management and auditors.
Ensure strict compliance with HMRC legislation and internal policies.
🧠 Ideal Candidate
Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
Excellent accuracy and data entry skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Clear, confident communication across teams and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Highly organised, able to manage deadlines independently.
Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Payroll bureau experience with mixed pay frequencies (desirable).
