Job Description

Job Title: Polish Payroll Specialist Lead
Location: Poland - Remote
Salary: 171,650 PLN

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Polish Payroll Specialist Lead to take ownership of end-to-end in-house payroll operations for Poland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a leadership capacity and is confident managing complex payroll processes while ensuring full compliance with local legislation.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll delivery, driving process improvements, and acting as the subject matter expert for Polish payroll within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and manage the end-to-end in-house Polish payroll process

  * Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with local regulations

  * Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalations

  * Maintain compliance with Polish payroll legislation, tax, and social security requirements

  * Oversee payroll data validation, reconciliation, and reporting

  * Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders where required

  * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy

  * Support audits and ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and up to date

  * Provide guidance and leadership within the payroll function

Skills & Experience

  * Proven end-to-end in-house Polish payroll experience (essential)

  * Strong knowledge of Polish payroll legislation and compliance requirements

  * Must have Fluent English lagnuage skills.

  * Hands-on experience using Symfonia payroll software (essential)

  * Previous experience in a lead or senior payroll role

  * High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  * Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  * A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
