This is an exciting opportunity to work as a PCB Rework & Inspection Technician for a manufacturing powerhouse.
You will play an integral role in inspecting and testing, and ensuring the quality of advanced electrical systems used in aerospace technology.
The environment is clean and clinical.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Reworking of through hole and surface mount technology PCBs.
• Building of Unit Modules.
• Soldering to J-Standard – 001
• Inspection of PCBs and Modules.
• Reading and Understanding of drawings.
• Being able to inspect in accordance with detailed work instruction sheets, customer specific drawings and specifications
• Verifying that routings and detailed Work Instruction Sheets are being followed for all activities
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s Health and Safety and Environmental procedures
• Become proficient in relevant procedures and processes
• Apply a professional and conscious approach in your day-to-day operations
Previous experience in PCB assembly, preferably in the defence or aerospace industries, will be advantageous. Applications without these credentials will just be disregarded.
This will most likely be a double day shift role, with the requirement to work day shifts at the requirement of the Company, usually only in the initial training period. There is a likelihood that the successful applicant will be taken onto the permanent workforce at a future juncture.
Pay rates reflect the day shift value (lower) and the higher shift rate. Some overtime will be available, paid at enhanced rates.
