PCB NPI Engineer Rochester £45,000-£52,000+Excellent Benefits
My client a multi-national aerospace and defence organisation are looking for PCB NPI Engineer to join their team in Rochester.
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams at the earliest stages to ensure PCB designs comply with IPC standards and are manufacturable within existing production processes
Provide ongoing support during the development stages, offering insights and recommendations to improve design for manufacturability and production efficiency
Take ownership of PCB new product builds, ensuring they meet manufacturing standards and provide valuable insights for continuous product improvement
Work with PCB Process Engineering team to implement improvements to PCB processes that enhance manufacturability and efficiency. Where appropriate consider roadmap to future technology and seek buy in from senior leadership
Own the PCB Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process, ensuring engagement with engineering teams to communicate the capabilities and limitations of PCB production at the Rochester facilityEssential Skills:
HNC in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience in PCB design, DFM processes, and manufacturing
