Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write new PCS7 code for renewable power applications.
Commission, test, and debug your own code onsite.
Troubleshoot and enhance existing PCS7 logic to improve system performance.
Collaborate with site engineers, control systems teams, and project managers.
Ensure all work meets functional and safety requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience with PCS7 engineering, ideally in an industrial or power setting.
Strong Siemens control systems background.
Hands-on experience with onsite commissioning.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of code delivery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of renewables or power generation is advantageous but not essential.
Additional Information:
This role is outside IR35.
No remote or hybrid working - this position requires full-time onsite presence in Scunthorpe.
Initial contract term is 6 months, with strong likelihood of extension
