Job Description

Great opportunity to work as a PCV Coach Driver for our prestigious client based in Peterborough. 
Staffline is seeking PCV coach drivers for ongoing work with Driving Plus Ltd/Staffline. 
 
Pay & Hours: 
Earn £16.48 per hour working 38 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 shift pattern (including weekends), with overtime paid at £20.48 per hour after 38 hours. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to regular weekend work as part of the core schedule. 
 
Applicants must hold a valid PCV licence. 
 
To be eligible for this position, you must have the right to live and work in the UK. Due to the location of the site in Peterborough, applicants must have access to their own vehicle or reliable transport to travel to and from the workplace. 
 
Your Time at Work 
You will be responsible for transporting agency workers to and from their work sites, with a strong emphasis on punctuality and safety. 
 
As a Coach Driver, you must demonstrate the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes with confidence and maintain a calm and professional demeanour in challenging situations. A smart appearance and excellent customer service skills are essential to ensuring a positive experience for passengers. 
 
You must have excellent communication skills, as you will be required to provide clear and accurate information to passengers, as well as relay relevant details to the transport team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer-facing skills and maintain a smart, professional appearance, as you will be the first point of contact for passengers. Reliability is essential in this role, as punctuality is critical to ensuring passengers reach their destinations on time. 
 
A positive, approachable attitude and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally are also key attributes for success in this role. 
 
As a Coach Driver, you must have: 
 
- A valid Category D licence (we may also consider Category D1 for a part-time position) 
- A valid PCV licence 
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence 
- A valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card
