Job Description
The Odin Recruitment Group are seeking x3 professional and experienced HGV/PCV mechanics for a customer based in Manchester South.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced mechanic to join a very ambitious and customer centric organisation.
Salary - £800.00 - £1000.00 per week depending on experience and qualifications (time and a half paid on weekends) + benefits and perks
Typical duties include -
- carrying out routine inspections, servicing and repairs on vehicles
- perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
- diagnose mechanical issues and develop appropriate solutions
- repair or replace faulty components and parts
- conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, and other systems
- test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair tasks
We would like to hear from candidates who have -
- proven experience as a Mechanic
- proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent problem-solving skills
Candidates will have a recognised apprenticeship as a bus Mechanic/PCV/PSV Technician and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Preferably you will have a valid driving licence.
