What You'll Do:
As a key member of the team, you will undertake Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on our top-of-the-line JCB generators, ensuring they operate flawlessly before reaching our valued customers. Your role will include:
Performing thorough PDI's on generating sets to ensure perfect operation.
Conducting minor and major services on diesel engine generator sets.
Engaging in control system wiring and programming Deepsea controllers to meet customer specifications.
Participating in PLC/Deep Sea/Deif programming tasks.
Assisting with loading and unloading sets, and supporting your colleagues.
Attending relevant product training courses to enhance your skills.
Being prepared to work outside regular hours when needed.
Core Hours:
40 hours per week, 08:00 - 16:30 (half-hour unpaid lunch break)
What You Bring:
We're looking for someone with:
Sound mechanical and electrical experience working with generators.
Knowledge of JCB generators or diesel generators (desirable).
In-depth understanding of Lithium Power packs and control systems.
A collaborative spirit and a willingness to assist team members.
A clean driving licence and a good driving record.
Proof of your right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications:
